I really like the idea of this. I have been wondering if my work in the portfolio (www.domain.com/project/….) will have as good of a chance in google as my blog post would. As a suggestion, you can post a blog as a “link” and link to the portfolio. It should work similar because once you click the post it will take you to your link.
I have put in a request to have featured images still available for link posts. It would be like having your video in two locations at once since the blog traffic will still end up in your portfolio.
