Hi,
1. The 404 Page not found is something to do with permalinks. To flush old permalinks cache simply navigate to wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks
This will flush the permalinks cache and resolve any 404 Page not found errors.
2. No, WP doesn’t have a standard function to do this. You’ll need to upload images to pages/posts for galleries.
