Currently the slideshow attached images will need to be uploaded again if it needs attaching to page. There currently is no standard function in wordpress to populate media packs as a shared basis. I’ll note this however.
If you can talk to a wordpress dev – there is a way to customize the /featured/supersized.php to supply a page ID on each fullscreen post format – then have the slideshow fetch the images from a shared page.
